Golf and big city flair at Big Spillern Golf!

That was just recently OMG! ohmygolf.at - Team on Tour to Sunset Golf with Claudia Moriggl at the Spillern Golf Club!

In the slipstream of the Senior Rally East, there were 9 refreshing holes after office on the program. The inviting 1 is a perfect introduction to the round (admittedly so is the 10). Fast greens and graciously wide, flat fairways make the game and score a pleasure. Congratulations to the seniors - despite rough visits here and there, we only encountered one lost ball!

The 19th hole was a 10 today and the fact that a hundred tournament participants were serviced during the day did not change the hospitality in the evening. Cheers!

The golf course

The most extensive and spacious golf course (18-hole championship course plus 3-hole practice facility) in a natural design with old trees in the immediate vicinity of Vienna.

The Spillern Golf Club's spacious championship course was built in 83 on an area of ​​1996 hectares. The ideal terrain, located at the foothills of the Weinviertel hills, allowed for a natural construction method that dispensed with large-volume earth movements. The tree population of a windbreak belt forms the center of the course around which the fairways are arranged.

A special attraction is the 20-hectare practice facility. In addition to a driving range that can be played on two sides, several pitching and chipping greens as well as two putting greens, it also has three fully-fledged fairways. The fact that even beginner golfers can immediately test their skills on real fairways and greens is an outstanding feature of the Spillern Golf Club.

Children’s camps take place in the summer under the motto: “Games, sports, fun”. Every Monday to Friday, between 9.00 a.m. and 17.00 p.m., young talents (ages 5 and up) have the opportunity to enter the world of golf.
