OMG! on tour at GC Schönfeld (tournament)

ohmygolf.at on tour, at the partner club Golfclub Schönfeld with Andreas & Christopher Hausammann.

On the occasion of the 2nd Charity Golf Trophy by SIMACEK Facility Management Group in aid of the Nico Langmann Foundation, 18 flights accepted the invitation and experienced a top event in perfect weather.

The course is in perfect condition with beautiful greens and pre-summer blooming vegetation. The appreciative, uncomplicated welcome culture of the event team around Thomas & Nina, combined with the best food and hospitality, as well as playful highlights, gave the participants a perfect day.

Among the special competitions was the popular ohmygolf.at Bomb Drive (longest drive) on the 1st hole, where a photo booth by Austria-Photo/Birgit Naimer added to the atmosphere and provided some lighthearted fun. Motivated by fresh chocolate-covered marshmallow treats at the T-Box, the longest drive landed at approximately 190 meters, and the longest at around 255 meters. The same player impressively underlined this top result on a later hole with a drive exceeding 300 meters.

The proceeds from the raffle, which organizer Thomas Lorenz then matched (!), resulted in a record donation, which Nico Langmann was able to accept as the first contribution for his newly founded foundation. Nico is a 25-year-old top tennis athlete who has been in a wheelchair since a traffic accident when he was two years old. With his foundation, he aims to give other young people access to elite sports. A fantastic man with incredibly positive vibes!

We almost said, “That’s how golf has to be!”
